Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of HouseWork Pros and hwpservices.com. By using the site, submitting a request, applying as a contractor, or accessing a dashboard, you agree to these Terms.

Platform Role

HouseWork Pros is a home-service request intake and lead-routing platform. We collect service requests and may route them to independent local service providers. We are not the contractor performing the work unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.

Independent Service Providers

Service providers are independent businesses. Providers are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, permits, estimates, pricing, scheduling, work, safety practices, warranties, taxes, employees, subcontractors, and compliance with applicable Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, federal, and local laws.

Homeowners and property contacts are responsible for reviewing any provider, proposal, agreement, estimate, warranty, insurance information, license information, and work terms before hiring or allowing work to begin.

Service Requests

You agree to provide accurate contact, property, and service information. If you submit a request for a property you do not own, you confirm that you have authority or permission to request follow-up for that property.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a provider will accept, respond to, quote, schedule, or complete the work. Availability depends on provider coverage, service type, urgency, request details, and business decisions made by independent providers.

Contact Consent

If you check the consent box and submit a request, you authorize HouseWork Pros and one matched local service provider to contact you about your request and related services by phone, text message, and email using the information you provide. Consent is not required to buy goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP and can opt out of marketing emails using unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us.

Photos, Videos, and Uploaded Content

You may upload photos or videos to help explain a service issue. You confirm that you have the right to submit those files and allow us to store, review, and share them with a matched provider for the purpose of evaluating or responding to your request.

Payments, Estimates, and Work Agreements

Unless expressly stated otherwise, estimates, contracts, deposits, payments, financing, change orders, warranties, and work authorizations are handled directly between the customer and the independent provider. HouseWork Pros is not responsible for provider pricing, workmanship, materials, delays, property damage, injuries, warranties, or disputes between customers and providers.

Emergency and Safety Situations

The site is not an emergency service. For fire, gas leaks, electrical danger, flooding, medical emergencies, structural danger, active break-ins, or immediate safety threats, contact 911, your utility company, emergency services, or another appropriate emergency resource.

Contractor Applications and Dashboards

Contractors may apply to receive local service leads. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval, lead volume, exclusive territory, pricing, or assignment. We may review, approve, pause, reject, or remove contractor access based on operational, compliance, service-area, dispute, or business considerations.

Contractors agree to use lead information only to respond to the submitted request, honor opt-out requests, follow applicable call, text, email, advertising, licensing, and consumer-protection laws, and keep dashboard access secure.

Prohibited Uses

You may not submit false information, misuse another person's contact information, upload harmful files, scrape or copy platform data, interfere with site security, use the platform for spam, or use request information for purposes unrelated to the submitted service need.

Lead Routing and Compensation

HouseWork Pros may receive compensation from providers for access to leads, assignments, sold leads, subscriptions, credits, or other contractor services. This does not change the customer's responsibility to review and choose any provider before hiring.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The site and platform are provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HouseWork Pros is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for disputes, losses, claims, injuries, property damage, delays, pricing issues, work quality issues, or warranty issues caused by independent providers or users.

Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive non-waivable consumer rights under Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, federal, or local law. If a term cannot be enforced as written, it will be applied only to the extent permitted while the remaining Terms continue to apply.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the platform changes. The updated date will show when the current Terms were posted.
